Most of us think investing is for the rich, however, you don’t need millions to own a tiny piece of a company. With an app called Stash, you can invest in companies such as Amazon, Google, Apple for as little as $1.00.

Day 3 – Change your car insurance carrier

It is always a good idea to compare insurance rates. If it’s been a while since this was on your radar, then you could be paying too much on your current policy. Luckily there is a website called SmartFinancial where you can check rates in about 3 minutes.

Day 4 – Give your family up to $1 million

Being the boss of your bank account also means planning for the future. If you have kids under 18 or a spouse that relies on your income, you need to think about how they might manage after you’re gone. If you haven’t thought about term life insurance, now is the time.
