If you’re looking for a tiny dream house that has just about everything, look no further than Ana White’s, “Open Concept Rustic Modern Tiny House.”

Ana White and her husband live in Alaska where the couple work together on all sorts of projects. From woodworking to building houses, there really isn’t much that these two can’t do!

According to their website, the reason for sharing their knowledge of craftsmanship (and even the floor plans to their projects) is simple.

“Our goal is simple – to help people improve their homes with basic tools on limited budgets. This is about everyday living.”

Perhaps the best part (yes, it gets better), is that their projects usually require the same four power tools — a drill, miter-saw, brad nailer, sander.

In addition, if you have either a jigsaw and circular saw or a table saw, even better!

Their projects truly are quite fascinating. One look at the projects on the website and it’s clear that they put in tremendous effort to assist their viewers on how they too can build their own stylish and eye-catching designs.

Take that HGTV!

In one of their videos, Ana toured an open house that she designed for a client. The house just might be one of the most innovative designs you’ll see in a tiny house.

Ana lets her imagination and creativity loose to meet the requests of her client who will be living in the space.

Though the tiny home looks simple at first glance, it includes an elevator bed, a vast amount of open space, discreet storage compartments, and multipurpose furniture.

To start, the house is framed on a 24 foot by 8 1/2 foot trailer and is only 13 feet tall.

The exterior is made of metal, including the roofing, but cedar channel siding is added as a nice accent to the otherwise typical siding. It definitely gives it a more classy look.

Also, the windows are triple-glazed in order to be energy efficient.

One of the first things people will notice when stepping inside is the ample amount of floor space. In fact, there is 100 square feet of open space!

On the wall are plenty of handmade baskets and hooks to place jackets, keys, mail, and other items.

To the left of the entryway is the loft area that includes an elevator bed. The rail includes pins that secure the bed in place while the lift system is used to move the bed.

In addition, the coffee table cubes on the floor can be used as a step latter. But if you prefer not to step where you place your food, consider purchasing a small step latter instead.

The couch’s cushions are made from a foam mattress that has been cut into pieces. The reason being is that the couch doubles as a guest bed. Of course, it requires moving things around to arrange it as such. In fact, the step leading up to the kitchen area has to be moved across the room to be used as a part of the bed.

While unique, some might view it as a bit tedious.

However, under the couch cushions and inside the coffee tables is additional storage.

Better yet, the coffee tables quintuples in its purpose as a removable lap tray and guest seating as there is a cushion on the underside of the lid.

Wowzers!

The open space in the middle of the house is accompanied by a large storage space that lines the wall. But the sliding doors double as pull-out tables to be used as a desk or a dining table.

Just outside of the kitchen is a wall cabinet with three open spaces at the base that can be used for storage. But it can be slid out to double as a food pantry on the other side.

The kitchen has a large sink and an under-the-counter refrigerator but the client plans to add a microwave, induction burners, and a washer and dryer as well.

The bathroom hosts a shower with a sliding cabinet door where clothes can be hung. This is one of those ideas that you have to see to believe. The innovation is simply uncanny.
