And to prepare the frosting, you’ll need the following items:

How to make the cookies

Step 1: Add the cream cheese, cream butter, and sugar into a large bowl. Stir until light and fluffy. Add in the egg and extracts, beating thoroughly. In a separate bowl, add flour and baking powder; whisk them together. Slowly beat the ingredients into a creamy mixture. Cover and put everything in the refrigerator overnight.

Step 2: Preheat your oven to 325°. Then shape the dough into 48 one-inch balls, 48 3/4-inch balls, and 48 1/2-inch balls. Using ungreased baking sheets, create each snowman by putting one ball of each size, side by side.

Step 3: Now it’s time to bake the cookie dough for18 to 20 minutes or until light brown. Once you take the cookie sheets out of the oven, let them cool on the pans for about two minutes. Then immediately press the chocolate chips on the cookies for eyes and M&Ms for buttons. Next, carefully move the cookies to wire racks for complete cooling.

Step 4: To prepare the frosting, beat together in a small bowl the extract, confectioners’ sugar, and “enough milk to reach a piping consistency.” If you want to use two frosting colors, move half of the frosting to another bowl and tint each using different food coloring.

Step 5: Finally, find a food-safe plastic bag and cut a small hole in a corner of it. Then fill it with the frosting. Pipe the scarves onto the snowmen, and then use the frosting to attach chocolate kisses for hats.

Now it’s time to share these goodies with family and friends!
