Not only did she do it by herself, but with almost no tools.

Survival Shelter Ideas. Cool name for a channel. But this woman in the video definitely deserves to be featured. No architects, expensive tools, or money were harmed in the making of this house. Just pure skills.

A woman and her blade.

In the event of an end of the world, apocalypse-like scenario, this unbelievable underground house villa may very well be your next project. Watch her work though. It’s her mind and that cool dagger/knife she’s using which looks like a Filipino Bolo.

Find a secluded area in a forest with a space wide enough like hers. She clears the area and does a little clean up before marking the floor space she desires. The woman starts digging away with her dagger-hammer tool creating the floor area which looks to be around 5-6 feet deep.

Visualize and carve.

Using the same tool, her only tool, she begins to carve a table with a stove top. Or what looks to be a stove-grill in a corner. She carves the tabletop with precision, making sure the surfaces are smooth. There’s even a little storage space underneath!

On to another corner where she sculpts a little staircase, a table, and a couch. This is arts and crafts taken on a completely different level.

Wall muscle.

This awesome woman collects wood and strategically places them around her project, creating the foundation for its walls and roof. After she sets the perimeter, she picks up more wood and mounts them horizontally across the planted perimeter. She ties them down real tight.

This goes on until the roof structure is visible through the extra layer of wood she’s mounted on the wall posts. Once the dome-like shape is done, she cuts and strips some bamboo which she uses to create another layer. The crisscross pattern on the roof looks really sturdy.

Let’s mention how insanely strong, resilient, and cat-like she is when she moves across her roof.

She heads back down into her home with her strips of bamboo where she mounts them across the foundations, once again tying them down as tight as possible with evenly spaced openings to allow cooling.

Once her walls are done, she leaves a doorway open by her sculpted staircase wide enough for one person.

The woman gathers a lot of soil, pours water over them, and starts to mix the mud with her bare feet. Once she’s satisfied with the consistency, she gathers straw and throws them over her mud mix and stomps them in.

Pasta, anyone?

Once the mud and straw mixture is done, she throws them all over her roof. Wonder woman here distributes the mix across the roof, covering all the spaces from the wood and bamboo structure.

She does the same thing to her walls, using the mud cake to cover most of the area for that added privacy. She still needs her “me time”.

Using her hands, she smooths out the walls before heading back inside to polish the floor with some water. Check out her bed too. It’s even got a base and a headboard. All she needs now is Netflix.

Back up on the roof, she adds a layer of grass. It looks cool and acts as camouflage. This is survival!

What color should her outer and inner walls be? Green, of course!

The bed and couch are a nice red orange hue that contrasts well with the greener interior. The door is a bamboo mat hung up on the ceiling which acts as a sort of curtain-door. Bamboo is very tough!

Lunch break!

The woman wades into a body of water, burying her hands here and there until she grabs hold of a decently sized fish. If she’s still not amazing to your eyes then you need a doctor.

Once back in the house, she puts the fish down on a banana leaf as she starts a fire on her new kitchen stove. She heads on out to do a little landscaping work while waiting for the fire to get super hot.

Hot off the grill!

Her fish is ready and it looks delicious! She sits down with her well deserved meal and as she digs in, you can see a hint of smile on her face. She’s proud of herself and rightly so!

The meat falls off the bone easily. That’s a lot of protein. She does need it after all that hard work. With the fish gone and washed down with a glass of water, she heads to the bed for a power nap. This is old school building. Ancient, even. And to think one small woman did it all herself. Can you?
