Woman uses post-it notes to make the most delicate paper roses
I've never seen paper roses that are this easy to make and still so beautiful. They don't require a Cricut and they're even prettier than the ones that do.

Looking for some floral decor? Maybe something to spruce up that gift you’re wrapping?

These paper roses are insanely adorable and super simple to make.

They also look incredibly lifelike at first glance, even though they are just paper.

All you need is four pieces of 8.5 cm notepaper, some glue, a thin skewer, and the tutorial by SimplePaperMade.

Take your first square of paper and fold it in half into a triangle.

Then fold it into another triangle to bend it in shape, then undo your triangle.

Next, fold the right corner of your triangle over to the left, then fold the other corner over in the opposite direction so that your piece of paper looks like a flower bouquet.

SimplePaperMade then takes an upsidedown white tear dropped piece of paper and places it over the middle of the bouquet so that their points match up.

She uses a pen to trace the shape of the teardrop then cuts the blue paper into a teardrop shape.

When you unfold the blue paper it looks like a flower shape.

Do this four times so you have four flower shapes.

When you’re done, place the flower shapes on top of one another in a stack.

Place the skewer down the center of each petal and wrap the sides of a petal around the skewer to bend your paper.

Take one of your flowers and wrap the petal tops backward around the skewer on both sides of each petal.

Save this for the last step as it will be used as your outer rose layer.

Take a different flower and fold up two petals on opposite sides of each other. Nest these two inside each other and make it look like the center of a rose. Glue these pieces together.

Repeat this for the rest of the petals in the flower.

This will be your rosebud.

Glue this bud down in the center of another flower. Make a line of glue along the left side of each petal.

Fold those petals up and over each other around the bud.

Softly and gently press down to seal the glue.

Repeat this with the remaining flowers, leaving the other layer for last.

“The roses are fluffy, so it may be a little difficult to shape them when you make roses. The point is to press down as gently as possible when gluing,” SimplePaperMade explains.
